Sultan actor Salman Khan just announced his wedding date. Now there's just the matter of the bride and the year, it seems!

If you are a Salman Khan fan who has been waiting for ‘bhai’ to settle down, then here is some good news. Khan seems to have finalised his wedding date.

In a recent chat session with ace tennis player and now author Sania Mirza, Khan revealed that he would want to get married on November 18, but he hasn’t finalised the year yet!

The Sultan star was seen at the launch of Mirza’s autobiography Ace Against Odds, when Sania herself asked Khan, ‘Everyone wants to know when are you getting married? It’s the most important question.

A slightly flushed Khan who perhaps wasn’t sure of what he might say was then helped my the emcee.

The date is set

The host suggested November 1, which incidentally is the date his parents married and also the date his younger sister Arpita Khan got married two years ago.

Khan reportedly responded by saying, “Yes. 18th November. Yeh 18th November, yeh kuch bees pachees November se chal raha hai. Lekin pata nahi kaunse saal main hoga. Lekin hoga. (This 18th November has been going on for the last 20-25 Novembers. I don’t know which year it will happen but it will happen.)”

Pressure from women in his life

When Mirza remarked that there must be many women complaining about why he doesn’t want to settle, he had a simple reply. He mentioned that there are quite a few women who want to see him settle down and specifically mentioned them.

“I know a few who are complaining. Aapko nahi pata kitna pressure hai. (You don’t know how much pressure I am under). I am talking about my mother and sisters. They want me to get married,” he said.

It remains to be seen whether the biggest theatre draw will settle down this year or not. But at least he has made one thing amply clear, and that is his wedding date. Now the only thing he needs is a bride and the year!

On work front, Khan was recently seen in the hit film Sultan, opposite Anushka Sharma.
