The Bachchans are known for their grand Diwali parties every year that include the who’s who of the film industry along with their near and dear ones.

So this year’s Diwali party is also going to be as lavish as always and would be hosted by Amitabh Bachchan on October 3oth this year.

An eco-friendly Diwali

As always the party would be hosted keeping the Indian traditions in mind. While earlier the Bachchans were known for their fabulous Holi parties, they’re now replaced by Diwali parties.  This year it would be an eco-friendly Diwali for the starparivaar, says a report in a popular Mumbai tabloid.

Most of all Aishwarya makes sure that Aaradhya gets to know about Indian traditions and customs on Diwali and other such festive occasions such as Ganpati and Holi. She is very particular about Aishwarya’s upbringing and explains each and every tradition to her in detail, now that she would be five soon.

“Aaradhya also looks forward to the celebrations with grandpa explaining the meaning of each ritual,” says the source in the newspaper.

“Accordingly, we are depicting religious icons like earthen lamps, Om, coconut stem and even alpana. There were 58 others vying for the job. I sent him a 3D image of my proposals in a CD format. He picked me. In September, I met Bachchan at Jalsa and he approved our designs,” Pal told the Times of India from a hotel in Juhu, where he would be staying for the next few days.

There is another big reason to celebrate for Amitabh Bachchan as his film Pink becomes the most critically acclaimed film of 2016 so far.
