About International Babywearing Week (IBW)
International Babywearing Week (IBW) is an annual event, organised by Babywearing International Inc, a non-profit organisation whose mission is to promote babywearing as a universally accepted practice, with benefits for both child and caregiver, through education and support.
With this year’s theme, “The Best Seat in the House”, IBW is focusing on the opportunity to celebrate, promote, and advocate the many benefits of babywearing.
About Malaysian Babywearers (MBW)
Malaysian Babywearers (MBW) is a non-profit organisation registered under the Malaysia Registrar of Societies (ROS). Our objective is to promote, support, advocate and educate all parents, families and caregivers on safe and correct babywearing practice in Malaysia.
In conjunction with IBW, the Malaysian Babywearers will be hosting their own event on the 5th of November at West Garden Boulevard at One City . The Malaysian Babywearers have been participating in this global event since 2008. Malaysian Babywearers aim to focus on creating more awareness about babywearing in Malaysia.
This year they will be organising several exciting and educational events throughout the week leading to the main event on the 5th. These include many competitions, contests, babywearing walk, vendors booths and many more. Do drop by their page for more information on how to participate in these contests. Exciting prizes awaits!
