When people talk about Covid and PKP during 2019, 2020 and 2021, I remember that time was the most challenging moment to our world especially to people who wants to deliver baby at that time including me. I was pregnant during Covid era, which means to deliver a baby at hospital at that time was not that easy. You must prove yourself that you are free from covid, if not, then the procedure will be changing.
On 5 September 2021, i can feel some contraction in the middle of the night that makes me feel uneasy. I wake my parents and ask them to bring me to hospital. Forgot to mention, i was pjj with my husband, he work at Perlis while me living here at Sarawak. During that time, there is no flight available to Sarawak unless you are willing to risk yourself buy some flight ticket with unconfirm status. My husband was a frontliner team so he cant be beside me while im labour. Back to the story, i go to hospital. i have this contraction for more than 24 hours! While waiting into ward admission, im there sitting alone in a cold hallway just to wait for my swab test result (took 3 hours by the way), so i sitting there all alone in pain.It was super hard and pain memories. I have this super backpain, and sometimes i feel i want to go to toilet, but when i saw some blood came out from my skirt, i cancelled my plan and decided to just sit down until my swab test result come out.
At last after negative, they give me a way to my bed.. around 2 am, the contraction was increasing and i cant even sleep. I keep on asking the nurse to check me. Until 6cm, then after that they send me to labour room. With my mask on, with 3 times push and voilllllaaa! my baby came out safely. Omg, with the same mask i go back to ward. i cant believe i can push my baby with mask on my face haha. what a super covid experience huh? now my baby is one years old.. shes grown up very well.
