KUALA LUMPUR, 7 August 2024 – Building on the excitement of the hit animated series, LEGO NINJAGO: Dragons Rising, The LEGO Group has unveiled new building sets.

Season two of the show premiered in April 2024, leaving viewers eager for the next part arriving in October. These actionpacked sets will thus allow fans to recreate epic battles and forge their own adventures inspired by the show’s thrilling storyline.

Ágnes Molnár, Head of Marketing, Singapore, Malaysia and APAC Travel Retail, The LEGO Group said, “At The LEGO Group, we’ve long championed the power of play in igniting children’s creativity. The new season of LEGO NINJAGO: Dragons Rising is no exception. We hope these inspiring stories of courage and teamwork, embodied by our ninja and dragon characters, will spark children’s imagination as they build our new LEGO sets alongside their families too. These sets are more than bricks; they are springboards to epic adventures fuelled by a child’s own imagination!”

New LEGO NINJAGO sets inspired by the new season

Look out for these exciting new sets as young ninjas build, battle, and create their own thrilling NINJAGO stories.

For example, they can soar into action with the biggest-ever LEGO NINJAGO dragon – the 71822 Source Dragon of Motion. Join Arin, Kai, and the ninja crew in a daring rescue mission to free the majestic dragon from the clutches of the villainous Lord Ras and his Wolf Mask Army.

They can also command the ultimate fighting force with the 71820 Ninja Team Combo Vehicle. This versatile LEGO set transforms from a massive battle machine into four smaller vehicles, allowing the ninja heroes to outsmart and outmanoeuvre their enemies. Elevate the battles with the action-packed 71818 Tournament Battle Arena by recreating dramatic showdowns with moving platforms, a giant drum for dramatic entrances into the arena, and a collapsing staircase to send villains tumbling.

For a truly immersive experience, explore the 71814 Tournament Temple City. This detailed set transforms from a stunning display piece into a vibrant play space with hidden compartments, secret doors, and interactive elements such as falling rocks activated by pressing a lantern. For the ultimate LEGO NINJAGO experience, unleash the colossal 71821 Cole’s Titan Dragon Mech!

This massive build has posable features to be placed in battle stances, allowing young builders to dominate the battlefield with Cole at the helm.

These sets are available at LEGO Certified Stores (LCS), LEGO Official Store on Lazada, Shopee, as well as major retailers and department stores in Malaysia.

Immerse in the adventures of LEGO NINJAGO: Dragons Rising

In Season 2 of LEGO NINJAGO: Dragons Rising, the series will pick up pace as the ninjas face a double threat: recent dragon-murders and the potential return of ancient evil Elemental Masters known as the Forbidden Five. To stop them, the ninja must decipher clues, navigate friendship challenges, and confront enemies that reveal a secret plot.

In the highly anticipated Part 2, the stakes soar even higher. The Source Dragon of Motion tasks the ninjas with solving the murders of Matriarch Dragons. Their investigation leads them to a brand-new Tournament of Sources, where Elemental Masters from all corners of the merged realms compete.

As the tournament unfolds, the ninjas face a brutal battle – not just against new adversaries, but also to uncover a plot that could free the remaining Forbidden Five. With Lloyd stepping up as a leader and Arin grappling with his place in the team, the ninja must overcome internal struggles and external threats to prevent a cataclysmic event.

Young ninjas can watch part one of the second season of LEGO NINJAGO: Dragons Rising on broadcast channels and streaming services around the world as well as on the LEGO YouTube Channel. Part one comprises 10 episodes of 22 minutes each, while part two with an additional 10 episodes will be released from October 2024.
