PETALING JAYA, 29 July 2024 — Boustead Properties Berhad (Boustead Properties) recently collaborated with Anak Rimba Books to organise a storytelling event for 30 children, including those from Rumah Cahaya Kasih, at Mutiara Spaces Show Gallery, at the Curve in Mutiara Damansara. Held in partnership with the Curve as part of the mall’s 20th anniversary celebrations, the event aimed to inspire young minds’ interest in environmental care through fun learning.
The half-day event featured two captivating storytelling sessions, ‘Let’s Try Something New’ and ‘Beyond Mimo’s Tree’, led by Abyan Junus-Nishizawa and Farah Landemaine, founders and authors of Anak Rimba Books. The children who attended the storytelling session were delighted to receive copies of the Anak Rimba books, sponsored by Boustead Properties.
Additionally, the event showcased a special short film entitled ‘What Goes Up, Must Come Down’ screened at the show gallery’s mini auditorium. Produced by Anak Rimba Books, this thought-provoking short film emphasised how small, everyday choices can make a big difference in protecting our planet.
The storytelling event was organised as part of Boustead Properties’ sustainability agenda, demonstrating the company’s commitment to promoting environmental conservation and preservation through community outreach.
The event was also supported by Royale Chulan the Curve, VISTA Eye Specialist and Toy World.
