Whenever we see Aaradhya and Aishwarya together, we always see Ash carry her four-and-half year old daughter, so much that there is not a single picture in the media archives where you would see Aaradhya walking by herself.
This became too obvious when Aishwarya and her little one were returning from Cannes and Ash had to carry Aaradhya in her arms throughout. But, Aishwarya had a reason for it.
“At one point when we were walking, she was in a great mood, even as people clicked pictures. She was laughing and saying something funny. But, when people started caving in, I had to pick her up because she is too tiny to handle all that. I had to steer my way through the crowd. It is just a protective instinct, I keep her close,” Ash was quoted as saying in an interview to a leading tabloid.
This clearly proves that being the overprotective mum that she is, Aishwarya carries Aradhaya in her arms to protect her and prevent a frenzy. Now we all know how difficult it can get for celebs to handle the paparazzi, which is why Aishwarya might have come to this conclusion.
While returning from Cannes also Aaradhya had thrown a tantrum and became quite cranky.
“Aaradhya has seen it (the limelight) since birth and I would like to think she is used to it. But when Aaradhya saw these people (photographers) coming, she just wanted to stop in her tracks and squatted on the floor. I knew it was time for me to pick her up. I just wanted everyone to be safe, including my child,” she explained.
Meanwhile, Daddy Abhishek has said that both Aishwarya and he want Aaradhya to grow up as a normal kid.
“We were clear she should grow up as a normal kid. I don’t think she understands who her grandparents are. Dadaji is probably Santa, he’s always getting presents. Dadima is a plaything because she’s almost her height. It’s what we both want for our child, and that comes from seeing each other as friends,” he told a leading daily in an interview.
