Actor Shah Rukh Khan is in the US to drop his son Aryan for higher studies and looks like the superstar dad is getting some major separation anxiety because that’s what’s evident from his latest Instagram post and Twitter messages.
The Bollywood actor posted a very emotional picture on his Instagram account where you can see him sitting with his son Aryan in a car. He captioned it: “Objects in the mirror….r closest…sigh…!!!”

The picture and it’s heart-melting caption was enough proof that the celeb dad is having the jitters leaving the apple of his eye back in the United States, where Aryan is supposed to complete his higher studies.
Shah Rukh arrived in California last week to drop his son Aryan to college and attend his orientation in California. Aryan will be joining a filmmaking course in the University of Southern California. However, as expected he was mobbed by his fans there with students hogging him for pictures and autographs.
Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri and children Suhana and AbRam, met with Aryan’s classmates and interacted with people present. SRK even posted a few pics on his social media accounts and mentioned that he was delighted to meet Aryan’s friends and his fans. Here’s what he had tweeted:
Shah Rukh Khan had earlier spoken about Aryan joining a filmmaking course and how he was helping him with it.
“I am showing Aryan a lot of films because he will be going to a film school now. I have made a folder which has all the great English classics like The Untouchables,Goodfellas and Michael Douglas’Falling Down. Right now I am showing him English films. I have also made another folder that has Hindi classics like Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Sholay, Do Aakhen Barah Haath and Devdas, both Dilip Saab’s and mine. I want him to see more films and he does watch a lot of films including mine,” Shah Rukh said.
When asked if his children are following his footsteps, the 50-year-old star said, “At the moment, my kids are following my footsteps as far as education goes. I had done my Masters and my kids are pursuing their graduation. Whether they will become actors or not it is their decision. I would be equally happy if they chose to become something else,” he had said to a leading media daily.
The entire Khan-daan is in California to bid Aryan goodbye and spend some quality time with him before he starts his studies. Gauri Khan, Aryan’s mother, also posted a few adorable pics of the siblings—Aryan, Sahana and AbRam— together on Instagram.
