While most of us are given a front door entry into Bollywood actress and mum Shilpa Shetty Kundra's fitness and shoot life, many are still privy to her personal space. And rightfully so.

The 40-year-old mum shares a plush bungalow with husband Raj Kundra and the couple have named their abode 'Kinara.' And, they have guarded their home from the prying eyes of the paparazzi.

But today we give you a sneak peek into their gorgeous home that has exclusively been designed by interior designers Sussanne Khan and Ahsan Ansari.

Many of you may not know this, but Shilpa Shetty Kundra is extremely fond of animal prints. In fact, the lovely lady often insists on zebra prints, which is one of her absolute favourites.

So it's not surprising that she got similar prints installed inside her home. Take a look at how aesthetically the centre table has been designed to incorporate the animal print.

In an interview to Filmfare, Raj Kundra once explained his wife's love for interior design.

He said, "She’s a fantastic homemaker and very house proud. Our house looks so good because Shilpa’s worked on designing it the way it is. She’s been picking up things from all over the world. She’s a great housewife. No one expects her to do jhadu pochha nevertheless, she’s never had any issues with getting her hands dirty."

Shilpa and Raj are known for their love for contemporary and traditional pieces. In fact, in an interview to a leading daily, Shilpa Shetty Kundra dished out details of her home's interiors.

She said, "I wanted the interiors of the house to be very different. Raj (Kundra) and I wanted it to look contemporary and colourful with the right mixture of Indian and western influences so that it reflects our personality."

In the same interview, she also mentioned her love for Ganesh idols. So much so that she has many of them at home.

She said, "I am very fond of Ganesh idols. I have a whole collection of them. During my house-warming bash, a family friend gave me a beautiful Ganpati idol made in silver. I really loved it. I have kept it in my puja room."

This room, however, acts as a passage way to other rooms in their home and has been decorated keeping in mind the colours and tones of the rest of the house.

The yummy-mummy is also a big time foodie, who loves to indulge in cooking for her son and husband.

The couple also love to entertain their guests who come often come over for parties and get togethers. No wonder then, they have created a large space for hosting many people at once.

The couple are also believers of Feng Shui and Vastu Shastra. In her interview, Shilpa mentions, "In fact, right from the entrance to the kitchen and bedroom, every single corner of our house has been built keeping in mind both, Feng Shui and Vastu Shastra."

They have also kept in mind that they have the blessings from their parents. "When you enter our house, the first thing that you see is the golden hand impressions of our parents. They have also written their blessings on them," she says.

As far as the bedroom space is concerned, the couple have made sure that it entails both their ideas.

Shilpa says, "There are several things that I love about my bedroom. I like its high ceiling, it's around 14 feet high. It has an abstract antique Tibetan door placed on it that looks very attractive. I'm also in love with the white-crushed curtains that flow across the window."

'Kinara' is set near the Juhu beach, giving the couple ample space to raise their son and enjoy the beauty of nature.

In fact, Shilpa has always wanted a sea-facing home. She sayd, "My dream house is the one where I currently reside. I always wanted a beach house..."Apart from the couple, Suzzane Khan has beautifully designed their home. Acknowledging the same, she says, "Apart from us, Sussane Roshan was also of great help in decorating the house. Her interior decoration skills are amazing."

Big on fitness, Shilpa Shetty Kundra also keeps giving her fans a glimpse of her view from her home.

She is seen here enjoying this splendid view with her son Viaan Raj.

She mentions in her interview, "The one thing that I like about Kinara is the view of the vast sea. You wake up looking at it and you go to sleep listening to the splashing sound of the waves at night. What I don't like about Kinara is that it requires high maintenance. Since it's a big property, it becomes quite difficult to maintain."
